Just ordered the i730 - lower prices than mentioned in article!
At first, the agent said that they didn't have it, then I told him that it had been released for B2B today and lo and behold, he found it in his database@ He initially said it was $484 w/a 2 year and $534 w/1 year. Then I told him that I thought there was a $100 discount if you get a data plan w/this phone. Sprint currently has EVDO rolled out in about 14 markets starting at the major airports and Sprint anticipates having EVDO deployed in all 31 markets Verizon has already announced, plus an additional 16 markets by the end of 2005. So.... what do you mean by "not anytime soon"?
So I ended up getting the phone for $499 after $100 discount for unlimited data. Definitely more than I wanted to pay, but still a good deal if the phone lives up to its promises.
