Then I told him that I thought there was a $100 discount if you get a data plan w/this phone. At first he said "No," then he checked w/his business department and came back and said I was right -- if you get the unlimited data plan at $44.99 a month you get a $100 discount, bringing it t...

Sprint currently has EVDO rolled out in about 14 markets starting at the major airports and Sprint anticipates having EVDO deployed in all 31 markets Verizon has already announced, plus an additional 16 markets by the end of 2005. So.... what do you mean by "not anytime soon"?

I just ordered it too, but they would not give me the $384 price unless I ordered 5 lines ☚ī¸. I kept asking the agent if he was sure about that, and he put me on hold twice to check it, but still I was denied.

So I ended up getting the phone for $499 after $100 discount for unlimited data. Definitely more than I wanted to pay, but still a good deal if the phone lives up to its promises.
