I work for Sprint, most of us were told about the change but have not been told the specifics of it.

These changes won't go into effect for a while since we are support WiMax for a couple more years.

A free LTE phone is pretty good, regardless of the quality. Remember Sprint doesn't manufacture the phones and they aren't cheap. So we're not going to just give people iPhone 7s or Galaxy S6's for free. I don't know any company that would do that. So to complain about the quality of the phone that you would get for nothing is ridiculous...If you're not happy with the device GIVEN to you, then upgrade to a better one. Rolling Eyes

haha ok... heres my response...

first off... i did work for sprint corporate... 5 years in fact and still keep up with it daily.

the fact you and other responders think... that i am complaining about a phone and deserve a free one have to learn to read.

now... i dont work for sprint anymore, because i have a professional job i work for now since graduating college managing atmospheric science. i require heavy data use to keep up with weather events.

why am i concerned, because i dont want a chinese phone, PERIOD. why? heres why

second, i have a photon... i told the rep... i dont have a problem upgrading to an LTE handset as long as its not those manufacturers AND has world capabilities. even if the galaxy nexus was world lte i would have taken it but they are not.

i am eligible for an upgrade and have opted for the s4 since it launched but i would rather wait for the motorola x. so i have looked and continue to look whats best. i simply wanted to try to change to something even refurbished now because i dont like the fact that wimax is so sensitive and disconnects after 77 mph.

oh, and if your going to be assuming i dont know what im talking about... i had an S3, i gave it to my sister for the world capabilities on the photon she had. so i chosen that back then, because i may be doing international travel.

i dont know you and can only assume working for sprint is working for a 3rd party store, but reading my posts and finding a way to analyze it in a preferred method is completely out of line.... as a matter of fact.... your just like MSNBC. so learn to read and understand exactly the post then maybe you would look like less of an *** Wink
