Who would have thought that more money would turn the tables? I thought it was pretty obvious that this would happen, was just a matter of time. Will be very, very interesting to see how sprint reacts to this.

If Sprint's the majority shareholder, can't they just out and out vote it down? And in the worst case, keep majority ownership?

Yup, Sprint can do that and I seen them doing that. Dish is doing this as a spite move. **** dish.

Dish is doing this because they do want to be a pain, but they have a business need to get their spectrum build out and they have obviously identified Clearwire as the best outlet to do that. This will probably cause Sprint much heartache going forward unless they sign a new agreement with favorable terms for Dish.

Not at all to say that Dish isn't doing what is best for Dish, but when I animate this scenario in my mind all I see is a munchkin in a Dish t-shirt kicking a Sprint guy in the nads. Just makes me smile.

Be even better if they turn around and sell it to DirecTV, then again with the way loser corporations cry to the government that "its just not fair" they'd probably stop it.
