Sprint Nextel To Focus On Sprint Brand Post-Merger
Still waiting...
I'm still waiting to see if first, the merger will actually go through, and second, what improvements each side of customers will see. I know that nextel has some great buisness services like the credit card swipe and bar code scan, etc. etc. But If nextel is doing this to expand their network coverage, I don't see how this will majorly help their customers. I am basing this statement on the size of sprints OWNED network coverage, not their entire calling capable area. I can make a call from a sprint phone at my house, but if I want to use any data services such as vision, I can forget it. Just about every company is like this. it will be atleast till 2007-2009 till they start to integrate their 2 networks together.
there will be great bennefits though..
1. increasing capacity and coverage
2. products/solutions
3. etc..
...
they still have to increase coverage/capacity anyway, just in case this merger wouldnt go through... why would they stop increasing if they were merging? doesnt make sense... its always good to keep expanding...
