Sprint Nextel To Focus On Sprint Brand Post-Merger

I have to say that I like the new logo. It's pretty neat how they came up with the best of both logos, but why did they keep Nextel's colors?

I like it too. And the yellow and black "command attention". I just hope i dont have to wear a yellow shirt. It will pobably be a black shirt and a yellow logo, but who knows...

It probably has something to do with give and take on both sides. Both companies want to keep their corporate images, so it probably came down to "Hey, we'll use Sprint as the primary name, but keep Nextel's color scheme".

yellow and black colors are extremly attractive and its easy to see with the eye. those colors have been increasing nextel's brand loyalty and awareness. so its a good move.

nextel has a better brand name and brand loyalty so they figured to include nextel's colors with the marketing campaign. makes perfect sense.

i see. well regardless, to that opinion, brand awareness and loyalty has been increasing! thus; more subscribers equals more revenue and income. so who cares if it looks like "turd" as you say.
