Great, No More "Drunk Texting!"

Sweet, this should alleviate a major problem for people like me, sending text messages to ex's at all hours of the night when out partying and hammered! 🤣

Now, I don't go around sending out life defining texts...but I've definitely received my fair share of uh, "drunk texts" from a particular ex of mine. I'll bet she'd have wanted them back, too...so I can see where this will come in handy.

But that's only if you can recall them fast enough. Because when you send out the messages when you are drunk, you most likely not going to recall them until the next morning when you know what you've done, and by then they would have most likely have been opened, Or even read that same night. I dunno, just my opnion. It would be a good feature if you know that the messages haven't been opended.

Well, I dont know about other phones/compaines, but mine has the following status:

Sending
Sent
Delivered
Error

Now what if samsung added one that would mark it as read so that when the user reads your message, their phone sends a signal back over the network indicating that the message has been opened. I know that such technology is available on regular email, and I dont think it could be that hard to integrate it to wireless. At least not for the techs that develop the stuff.
