When people say they will cancel while talking to me I call their bluff and I say okay here is your ETF's and ask if they want to pay it. If they say yes I cancel their lines eff immediately that way they can't just call back and have their future dated cancel removed and have to go through a credit check and everything else to get service turned back on. Maybe next time they will think twice about using that threat.
