What is it, like 7yrs they've been talking about shutting down iden?

Haha yeah something like that. They couldnt get rid of it back then though since IDEN was still number one in PTT and had no real competition. Now customer demand is smart phones so they needed a faster data capability on the IDEN phones it wasnt going to happen.

They should get the ball rolling with LTE faster once they cut the cost to keep IDEN network active plus the spectrum necessary to do so.

If the Softbank buy out goes through as planned Sprint is going to be making some big strides soon. 🙂

Side note I also noticed my TMobile network display 4G LTE Speeds 25mbps down and 12mbps up. WOW!

I am using a unlocked Note 2 from ATT :3 so fascinating the speeds these mobile networks can accomplish. I dont even know what to d...

100 mbps is still not enough to transfer a constant data-uplink containing the full spectrum of biometric data from an individual. We need to evolve farther to create a tricorder-like device, it can and will happen. We need terahertz technology.

Don't ever forget, you owe all that 800MHz spectrum to NEXTEL.

Also, Sprint's added 1900 MHz came from NEXTEL.

Also, most of Clearwire's 2.5 GHz came from NEXTEL.

Given Sprint's history of never actually finishing their network upgrades nationwide, it'll be a miracle if your hoped-for improvements in Sprint's networks actually materialize. As a long-time Sprint-Nextel customer I hope they make it, but experience has taught me to be guarded where Sprint's execution & follow-through is concerned.

And I owe the universe to the big bang? How many companies actually exist, that created everything from the ground up, without any outside help? ZERO.
