After reading this review I am even more sure that Microsoft wasn't in it's right mind when they compared this phone the the GS4 and said the Lumia 521 is better and superior to the GS4.

hahahaha when did they do that? I would understand if they tried to compare one of the other high end Lumia models or the HTC 8x model those are nice I am starting to become fond of the live tiles and the Windows 8 operating system 🙂 sure do hope the amount of apps catch up soon.

Are you sure you have the right phone? Where did you see this?

The 925 is Nokia's (and, by extension, Microsoft's) answer to the Galaxy S 4.

But the 521 was never intended to be a high-end phone.

This is the video in question. They aren't comparing the phones at all, just the prices.

Ah. I see. They are implicitly comparing the phones, though. That is weird of them to do.

I saw the video on Android Authority and then I saw your review and I cannot see how they can compare the two phones, the Lumia 521 is a low to mid-end phone while the GS4 is a high-end phone.

Most people know that low to mid-end phones are cheaper than high-end phones.

My favorite comment from someone who watched the video:

(When explaining the tactic that Microsoft used in comparing the 521 to the Galaxy S4, someone said this:...)

"I see you're interested in buying that Mercedes S-class, but what if I told you that you can get a Fiat Punto, a lawnmower, and a snowblower, ALL for less than the price of your Mercedes S-class!"

Hahahaha. Fiats are pretty nice, lawnmower could be useful, snowblower not so practical. But I see what they are saying.

Most of the individuals who buy a Galaxy S4 dont need a Galaxy S4 and would be fine with a Windows phone like the 521. Most consumers just buy the Galaxy S4 because their friend has it or they were drawn in by the pretty screen and multiple features.

I think the windows platform has great promise and appeal its just missing the mass amount of apps like the Android and iPhones have. Once the apps catch up Windows phones are going to be a great option! 😁

Hey Rich or Eric do you know if there is a dedicated app for Windows 8 phones to access Google Drive or just through the browser?

Nokia, I knew SGS 4, SGS 4 was a friend of mine. Nokia you are no SGS 4.

All kidding aside, for between $130 at Wally World, and $150 everywhere else contract free, its is a good deal.
