Apple doesn't need to do anything... their app works on AT&T.

Since that is preloaded and being unable to function over AT&T's cellular network unless you change your plan.

If Google made this a download offering through the Play Store that didn't replace the current offering (as they're replacing a current application on the phone with this), it would be fine.

It's so sad that both ATT & Vzn have the prime 700mhz spectrum, technologically efficient LTE, and yet they don't let it free,...I don't mean free as in $0, I mean free as in let it blossom, all the advancements that COULD come if people actually utilized their smartphones more fully.
