Basically, the current BlackBerry users could get screwed. This would be great news for Palm because many users would more than likely jump ship to the Treo 650. Just my opinion.

It'll never come to that as RIM has way too much cash to let something like that occur. And NTP won't push it because the potential windfall could be in the billions. Besides, the courts are starting to waffle on NTP's patents anyway. I'd take a Blackberry over a Treo any day.

I tried a Treo 600 when they came out for about a week and I went back to my BlackBerry. Other companies are seeing how great the push email is with BlackBerry that they are trying to get something similar, i.e. Microsoft, and there could be others out there as well.

Personally, I've enjoyed my BlackBerry and I'm glad that RIM decided to incorporate the Bluetooth feature.
