My phone has a slick plastic back, and guess what? With a case on the slickness is irrelevant. The "flimsy" plastic back has never popped off identically and its durability would easily exceed the notoriously fragile electronics of the device.
In other words, unless you can show that a flimsy plastic back the more damage-prone than the electronics, then what difference could it possibly make? The iPhone has a metal body, but do you seriously think that the rest of that phone would withstand just 1/8th of the abuse that the metal back could withstand? And, once again, once the case is put on the strength of the back is often totally irrelevant!
This is what you do. Post pictures of the exterior and write a little blurb about how well it looks. Remember: a picture says 1000 words.Give us details on the things that might not be so apparent like the responsiveness of the buttons and the size of the screen, but spare us on the winded accolades on how the exterior is some unique work of art.
