I've used the HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S 4 side-by-side every day for the last month. There's no doubt the GS4 is a technological marvel. It is the best phone to come from Samsung, period. I have no hesitation in saying that. At the end of the day, however, I prefer the complete experience that the One gives me more than the experience that the GS4 gives me.

Oh I said I wouldn't be going with the GS4 this time around but when I had the chance to use both the GS4 and One, I realized the GS4 was a no-brainer. Why? Simple. The One has too many shortcomings even the average Joe couldn't ignore. Smaller screen, non-removable battery, no microSD slot and Sense is still intrusive. Look at the app drawer it's ridiculous. It's a learning curve coming from another android device. Hell it doesn't even look like Android! Look at the font.

I admit the One is HTC's best phone to date and build quality can't be matched. Even I was hell bent on getting it but the issues I mentioned above were too great for me personally to ignore. HTC almost had it this time. SadThe GS4 offers much more bang for your buck even with the less than stellar build quality. They have improved on it through honestly. It doesn't feel as cheap as the GS3 did, IMO.
