What kind of camera do you use to take the photos of the phones?

For the reviews that I do, I am using a Sony 7.2MP Cyber-Shot DCS-V3.

Rich and Eric L both use different cameras.

Did you take the ic402 pictures in macro mode?

Yes. I set it in macro mode, position the phone about 12-15 inches from the camera, and zoom in just a little bit.

For screen shots, the room is completely dark, and I follow pretty much the same procedure.

Oh, and the flash is off. I shoot the phones in a light box that is illuminated by exterior lamps.
