For those who do not know, Flash is VERY powerful. Not to mention it's very ... well... "Flashy". It's going to be great for animated menus. Plus, flash is actually pretty easy to program..... well, it's easy to animate. I'm looking foward to that. I will be one of the first people with this phone.

I agree. We have seen phones with cameras, video, titanium shells, lights, 3d Motion, diamonds, bells, whistles, things that slide, swivel, pop out, disappear, and some things that move just for the heck of it. Now, hear is an idea that completely revamps the way we USE a phone. Now, thats something.

ok yeah, I get what your saying, But here me out. As a flash producer, I'm aware of how good flash will be for any menu system. Besides, there are many phones that don't look good with titanium shells..... though I've never seem any at all. Now that I think about it, the only one I've seen on a cell phone is cameras, videos, and bells and whistles. Trust me though this will be very good for cell phones. 😛

That's funny. I was going to say Flash takes forever to load and drives me crazy. And that's on a broadband connection using a computer with an AMD 64 bit processor.

😲 😲 Your talking about bandwith. Flash "loads" instantly. It times time for flash to download into your PC, but once it's there, it run very nicely. I have a 2.6 celeran ... or however you spell it. I run flash programs in full screen and it runs nicely.

My latest run in with Flash was the www.ampd.com website. Not only did it take forever to load on a broadband connection, but the animations and content are sluggish as well. Maybe it was just designed poorly. I'm not partial to sites that use Flash at all.

ampd.com is pretty much ALL flash ... because of the ui and sounds/music, it takes longer to download. Each section of the site you go to takes a bit since it downloads each section everytime you look at it instead of downloading all of the flash content at once.

Do you maybe have a config problem with your computer? My Centrino laptop (1.5ghz Pentium M) runs the site fine, even when I step the speed down (which is usually down to 500-600mhz) it still runs fine....works just the same and smooth on my AMD Athlon 1000 desktop. (Both computers have 512mb RAM)

Since the flash menu on a phone will all be stored in a solid state memory, it should run fast. It also isn't as large as what some websites would use just because the area size (scr...

it most likely is design flaws.... because I've seen fantastic flash designs that are animated well.
