Time to say "Bye Sprint"

This $249 price is probably gonna be the final straw for me. Sprint took away all the perks of being a long time customer, but they're offering a whole $100 off if you switch to them? Now they're charging $249 for the S4? Their 3g has been garbage for over a year now and their 4g LTE coverage map is full of lies.

I was gonna re-up with them because they offer the cheapest plans, but TMobile is right on par price wise and their coverage in my area is 10x better.

Someone is jaded. Perks are just that they arent in the contract and stuff like that changes all the time with all carriers. I find that "loyalty" rewards are non sense. Kinda sounds childish. Saying that you are going to check out Tmobile or any other carrier because perhaps they are going to have a better loyalty program for you is just bullocks as for the coverage it is very spotty I am a Tmobile user I find it awesome when it works, forget about making phone calls inside a building if you dont have WiFi in your home youll never be able to hold a call without dropping it in doors. Data is phenomenal in city areas only in specific locations, go camping, to the beach, or any other remote or rural location good luck browsing the web. They ar...

FYI, the postpaid plan $70 includes 500mb mobile hotspot, and it's upgradable.

Oh yeah forgot about that, 500MB will get you two Youtube Videos wooo... Worthless. Its kinda like there $50 "unlimited" Plan that gives you like 200MB of "Fast" data hahahaha.

I have been with Tmobile for a while to know that it does sounds too good to be true. ;).

No where in my post did I say I was looking into T-Mobile because of a loyalty program. I was simply pointing out that all the things that made Sprint attractive to me are now all but gone. You make a ton of claims about T-Mobile service as if you tested it with every device in every state. You haven't, so in that regard, your personal experience means very little to me.

Their $70 plan DOES include 500mbs of hotspot, Which is more than the 0mbs sprint's plan includes. I don't use hotspot, but I also root my device so I have it for free if I want it.

I am aware that they are no contract which is what intrigues me. It would make it extremely easy to move on if I don't like the service.

That still doesn't make sense.. No contract? Sooo you put a down payment for your phone UNLESS you pay Retail and then pay it off by adding 20.00 per month per phone to your bill and then if you cancel they send you a bill for the difference of the phone which is 300-400 dollars.. Now tell me there's no contract in that? It's the same system re-worded so they can increase your monthly and thank them for it.

One could easily get $300-$400 for a gently used S4 or HTC One on ebay/CL and pay off that bill. Anyway, I'm sure the TMobile model doesn't work for everyone and thats fine, I'm not asking anyone to agree with me. I'm just sharing my thought process. Sprint absolutely stinks in my town in terms of data speeds. If they were good, I wouldn't have posted anything. TMobile just launch their LTE service here and its fast, and even with the $20 per phone, cheaper than VZW. That's my main motivation.
