Replying to: Oh, but the camera by tjobrien21
A 1920 x 1080 image would have 2,073,600 pixels. And that's as good as HD currently gets, unless you're into high-end gaming or use big resolutions in a professional environment. But for the run of the mill consumer, 1080p is it. And since your photograph isn't likely to appear on anything larger, it's quite possible that a 2M pixel camera with a good lens could take better pictures than an 8M pixel camera with a crappy lens. I'm sure some of the high-end phones take much better pictures in perfect light that the One, but it is supposed rule the day when it comes to taking pictures in crummy lighting, like your kid's dimly lit recital where they ask you not to use your flash. I think the camera will actually resonate with a lot of people. HTC is ahead of the curve on this one.
