T-Mobile Slates US 3G Launch For 2007
Just Sell

Dude, more than 3/4 of this country doesn't even know what 3g stands for, let alone what it does. All people care about is getting coverage and a good signal for a good price, something Cingular doesn't understand if u look at the new plans. Go back to your verizon bashing and leave us T-Mobile people alone with CZJ. 😁
And understand that Cingular has no interest in buying Tmobile now that they have ATTWS's spectrum.

T-Mobile USA, although the number four national player, is still a huge company. They're owned by DTK, which is a billion dollar company, and bring in a lot of profit for DTK. T-Mobile will stick around, and will continually be the low-cost provider with national service. Everyday they work on improving their coverage, and 3G will help to make it better. Besides, no average American will be able to tell the difference anyways. Please, just leave T-Mo alone and go enjoy your expensive rate plans and poor customer service w/ Cingular.
^ Yarg 🙂
The title of this thread should be about T-Mobile buying Cingy and not the other way around.
Now considering their only interest would be in Cingular, they might be able to afford to write THAT check. What you must realize is that DT has a total of 70 million customers worldwide. Cingular has a whopping 50 million in one country. Comparitively I'm sure Cingular's value is almost exactly that of DT. And with the looks of how T-Mobile's revenue and profit must be struggling (due to their affordability) I highly doubt that DT could ...

Are you being serious? SBC is worth some $90+ billion, face value. I'd love to see the day that DT could/would write a check for SBC (and Bellsouth's stake in Cingular) and survive as long as a few more months. No company has enough money to toss around just to buy another company as large as SBC.

Of course DT could write a check out for SBC, but they'd be bankrupt the next day. So what was the point of saying it?

Yeah, I understand it was hypothetical, but it was also stupid.

He didn't say it was financially sound, he just said it was possible. Don't get so touchy about Cingular. They're doing great, and they have no need of Tmobile.

Okay...why are you telling me this? Did I not just say that myself in my other post? Hmmm... 🙄
I was instructing you to cool your jets, Hoss. Relax a little bit. No one's bashing your precious Cingular.
1. I know nobody was bashing Cingular.
2. Cingular is far from precious, to me at least.
I wouldn't say that I root for any company other than those I have stock in. I simply stated that somebody's post was a bit ridiculous and he jumped on my case about cooling my jets. It's not a big deal, I just like to see what he always has to say...

The Steelers are in the off-season and the Pirates are getting better. Unfortunately I'm a die-hard Pittsburgh fan, so there'll be no rooting for anyone else.

Ruff...if you're going to give us highlights, at least go back and watch the reel. I asked you to calm down 'cause you got rather animated about something that shouldn't have upset you in the first place. No worries, though. I follow what you post as well. Good posting. ;)

Who, exactly, are you responding to? See how I said "Cingular has no interest in Tmobile" in my previous post? That's because Cingular doesn't have any interest i...
