The clarification helps a lot. It can get complicated with different encoding schemes and multiple bands and some overlapping.

No Wi-Fi calling at launch
How is the iPhone 5 different from all other T-Mobile phones? It won't initially offer WiFi calling, a key T-Mobile feature that lets you make calls for over broadband.

T-Mobile's chief marketing officer Mike Sievert said that Wi-Fi calling isn't going to be available at the start, but hinted that it could arrive later. T-Mobile has declined to comment beyond that.

It is difficult to add carrier features onto the iOS... Apple is very anal about that. So sad but underestandable. A feature like that is very useful specially with a carrier like Tmobile. If it wasnt for WiFi calling my phone would be usesless inside my house.

Perfect coverage outside tho

T-Mobile's Wifi calling would be nice, but not the 20 other useless bloated pieces of garbage they ram into their phones.
