I have seen 2 people with this phone, both work for Sony. The screen is Awesome, & so is the Camera! Did really get to do much with it. Wondering how it will hold up against the Samsung Galaxy S4 when it comes out.

Seeing as how the GS IV is pretty much like a GS IIIS, I would much rathar have this sony phone. Anything I've ever bought from Sony, although expensive, has been high quality, and lasted for years. Looks like a great device.

How is the S4 like a S3s? What does this Sony phone have that the S4 doesn't? And I don't know about elsewhere in the world but the sony phones in the states have been horrible. I am, however, pretty certain that the International Sony phones are amazing. This phone does look amazing and I wish I could have one and try it out.

The Galaxy S 4G to the GS II was a huge upgrade. The GS II to the GS III was a huge upgrade. The GS III to the GS IV just doesnt seem like as big a change as they had previously. Sure, the screen is bigger, and the processor is faster, but this is akin to the kind of "upgraded phones" apple was offering. The 4 to the 4S really wasn't a big jump, i find that kind of change similar to this situation, the GS III to the GS IV. Based on the retail cost of the GS III being $550 - $600, there is no way in Hell I will buy a phone that is only slightly better than that for a most likely $650 - $700. No way.

The Galaxy s to the SII to the SIII is the same upgrade as the SIII to the SIV. Bigger screen, better camera, better processor. Its the same as any phone.

My current phone is the Droid Charge, which is essentially equivalent to the S1, so either the S3, or the S4 would be a ready big upgrade for me.

But I am going to hold out, for a smartphone with the Snapdragon 800 in it!!!

T-Mobile carried several bottom-rung SonyEricssons. AT&T had a few low/medium models. But the good ones were only available as gray market sales. The cybershot models and a few others had high quality cameras (with 2-stage focusing shutter buttons) and good audio quality.

Samsung makes some fairly good stuff too, but they never put a proper shutter button on anything which is constantly reminding me that they are less than perfect.

The best part is, HSPA+ and LTE support for both AT&T, T-Mobile (and CinBell, Stelera, Wind, Mobilicity, Rogers, Telus...as long as any US and Canada HSPA/LTE carrier).

Does it support HSPA+ in the 1700 band? That's the band T-Mobile uses.

Tofuch,
Not at this asking price, basically its similar in spec's to the US SGSIV, and at a premium. $100 less, I'd agree with you. If I was going to drop that for a phone, I'd probably go for the HTC One.
