I highly doubt it will head to Metro. Assuming the merger with T-Mobile goes through, which I think it probably will, the current MetroPCS network will be shut down within about 2 years. However, since the plan is to keep MetroPCS as a brand of T-Mobile, there is a high likelihood that there will be a Metro brand T-Mo device running GSM. There may be deals on GSM GS3 devices under the Metro brand as the CDMA to GSM migration takes place.
