Hyper-Threading

Yeah, becuase that made my Pentium 4 SO much faster.
Every processor I've ever used that supports hyper-threading as an advertised technology has been slow slow slow. Not impressed.

Lol, well this is just a phone. So I mean there is only so much a phone can do. I totally get what you are saying tho. Hehe. How about those 16 cores in the XBOX 720? hahahahah necessary!

I'll be sure to run that by everyone using an i7 processor. I'm sure they'll all tell us how terrible those processors are. I agree that hyper threading is over-hyped, but you're basing your opinion of it on what is almost universally agreed to be the worst processor series of all time- the P4. The problem there was the entire die, not the hyper-threading technology. And as I said, I agree it's over-hyped. But I haven't heard anyone complaining that their processors would be faster if they disabled the hyper-threading, which you can do by the way.
