With all due respect to Solavei and BlackBerry, only the clinically insane would spend so much money on a phone that doesn't come with gemstones surrounding the display or gold embedded in the chassis.

We used to have to pay these prices two decades ago for the privelege of owning motorola microtacs and transportable phones that were as big as briefcases.
The equipment got better, but pricing has held with these guys.
