Review: BlackBerry Z10 for Verizon Wireless

Poor battery life is a problem endemic to the entire smartphone industry and hardly one unique to Blackberries though. When I put the SIM card into my Galaxy Nexus it often runs down the battery within about 12 hours, when it is doing nothing except sitting in standby mode. Without the SIM card in it, it lasts about 24 hours in standby mode. Sadly that kind of battery life is becoming the norm these days. Moreover, the larger screen is going to run down the battery quicker as well. The Q10 should have better battery life for that reason.

Unfortunately, with poor battery life being very common, until battery life improves one simply has to find a way to make a workaround, such as carrying an auxiliary battery.
