T-Mobile's Nokia Lumia 710 Will Not Receive Windows Phone 7.8

Does that work for US T-Mobile 710s? The first comment in your link says it only works if the carrier has the update stored on their network somewhere for Zune to pull from. It doens't sound like T-Mobile will have the update anywhere to be found though :\

The only reliable way I've heard to get the upgrade is to manually flash the .cab files, which I'm a little more hesitant to do than I am with flashing Android ROMs. Mostly because the guide I read stressed that it was DIRE that you had to update ALL the language packs as well, that the language packs HAD to be for your specific phone model, and that it only worked if there were exactly 22 Language packs. The place I was getting files from had 24 packs for my phone, so I decided to stop until a few more people have tried the process out successfully....

I really can't afford to brick my phone atm :c
