They should have stuck with the touch panel, keyboards are out just like floppy disk.

They're offering both keyboard and non-keyboard models. What's wrong with that?

Nothing is wrong with that, I am glad they are offer keyboard and non-keyboard models. I know people who won't leave their feature phone because of T-9 and there are people out there that prefer to have a keyboard over having more screen real estate.

"there are people out there that prefer to have a keyboard over having more screen real estate"

I resemble this remark. I'm going back home where I belong..

The idea that touchscreen keyboards are always and everywhere 'the best' option and that anyone who wants something else is simply backwards is just nonsense. There are TONS of people out there, myself included who want and prefer a physical keyboard. Physical keyboards will never be obsolete.

The surest way to upset and alienate existing Blackberry users (there are still 80 million of them left) is to kill off the physical QWERTY keyboard.

There is a market for them. For Blackberry, the market is a substantial portion of what they offer.

Hanging around at places like Crackberry I know for a fact that for many people the only reason they are still using Blackberries is because Blackberry is the only smartphone that still offers physical keyboards, there are a lot of Blackberry users who would jump ship if they ceased offering physical keyboards.

I've been waiting for a qwerty blackberry running BB10. Goodbye GS3.

I really miss a physical keyboard but I don't know if I'm willing to go back down in screen size at this point. At the very least though I'm pretty certain I'll go for atleast the Z10
