I dont care if its for verizon or sprint that is ONE GIANT STEP in the right direction. That would be a huge hit. Cant wait to see a phone like that for the cdma nework. (actually I lie, hope verizon gets it) 😁 😁 😁
...
I agree. I just started selling Verizon (I used to sell Cingular and TMobile) and I really miss having Series 60 phones to show off. They are such great devices and I too hope that Verizon gets this one, though I guess I'm kind of partial. I've got and Ngage QD right now and it is by far the best phone I've ever had, and I've had quite a few.
...
I've never seen anyone say that the N-Gage QD is the best phone they've ever had. Is there any cons to the phone?
...
Come on Sprint baby, daddy needs a new fone! 😁
...
yea, that phone is quite sexy to be honest. i wonder how the battery life is.
...
Hmmm. I was just thinking that is yet another example of a butt-ugly phone from Nokia. Their Euro-styling just doesn't do anything for me.
...
well just becuase it doesnt suit your fancy, doesnt mean it wont suit others. people want functionality and some people could care less about how good or bad the phone looks.
...
I agree, I think its butt ugly. Looks more like a vibrator than a phone. But then again, maybe it has one built into it! Instead of an EV-DO chipset, maybe nokia decided to remove the chip and replace the void with a larger than normal vibration mechanism... Personally I would never buy this phone, but if someone came into my store and liked it, I would sell it to them no problem. It's all in a matter of taste and opinion, two things that cannot be argued cause they are neither right nor wrong.
...
"Looks more like a vibrator than a phone" HAHA
I dunno what galaxy you're from, but where I come from vibrators look nothing like that! LOL Nontheless, that line gave me a good laugh dude!
Great post!

You have apparently never used a series 60 symbian device, I thought that I was sold on flip-phones but when I started using the Nokia 6620 I couldn't put it down, the OS never freezes and never crashes, I can run multiple applications at the same time and there are thousands of symbian programs available to customize your phone. I am planning on getting a series 60 flip phone in the future when data speeds are better but for now its hard to beat the series 60.

About Battery Life, I currently use the Nokia 6620, GSM tends to get better battery life anyway, but with frequent use and a Bluetooth headset constantly connected the battery barely lasts a day, plan on having a vehicular charger unless they use a larger battery.
...
Well, we all know if it goes to Verizon the SD will be crippled. If they haven't removed the bluetooth that will be crippled as well. I have the 6630 version of this i use on T-mobile and it's a great phone if you can use all the features. I think it'll look retarded with an antenna sticking out of it but if that's what you need to get signal oh well. If you do get full use of the SD that'll be great, buying obscure formats stinks. Hopefully whomever gets it won't ruin it for everyone like cdma is known for.
...
Thats the only thing I can complain about with the 6620 is that it uses a multimedia card instead of SD. It would also be usefull if it is an external slot instead of an under-the-battery, turn your phone off type of card slot.
...
The slot is accessible from the side, like 6630, but on the other side. No under-the-battery nonsense. 🙂

Do you know if Nokia is planning on making any Nseries handsets for the American market when Cingular fully deploys UMTS/HSDPA?
...
That's certainly a possibility. Nokia is one of Cingular's chosen handset partners for the new 3G network. Nokia wasn't very clear about that in relation to the Nseries, though.
...
It does have Bluetooth, at least as approved by the FCC.
The antenna collapses completely into the phone and it also has an internal antenna, so you'll only see the antenna if you extend it. (Like the 3586, 3588, 3589, etc.)
