Stay away from ZTE unless you like returning your phone after two months and then getting it back still broken.

ZTE CEO Lixin Cheng appears to have little concern in honoring warranty. ZTE has bad record of profitability and struggles to stay in the US cell phone market.

CEO Lixin Cheng claims national office in Richardson Texas, but don't try calling them. All you get is a prerecorded message. If you can't contact national office, what kind of company would ZTE possibly be.

My phone ear receiver quit two months after I purchased it at Radio Shack. Radio Shack would not accept the return, nor would Boost Mobile. They told me that I had to return the phone to ZTE. I did that and it took 17 days to get the phone back to me.......

Their phones may be horrible, but they aren't struggling. ZTE is one of the two companies that has increased their year over year sales by the very most, the other being Huawei. Both companies do make low-quality devices, but, apparently lots of people are buying them.

Lots are buying them. But I plan on changing that after my bad experience and phone returned back to me in the same condition. RMA 20121226821763

People need to know that cheap prices mean cheap quality.

As far as ZTE not struggling, check out their 2012 losses here http://www.zdnet.com/cn/zte-posts-439m-loss-i n-2012-preliminary-results-7000010048/

As soon as word spreads that ZTE makes junk they will disappear....as they should.

You're certainly right, cheap prices do mean cheap quality. That is self evident in lots of products that exist in our society today, but it also has to do with the manufacturer.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace II x, a $200.00 phone, my friend has a GS III, a $600.00 phone. Comparing them side by side, my ace IIx's build quality is just as good, if not better than the GS III. You have to watch the manufacturer as well. But I would agree, in general you pay less, you get less.
