Verizon Selling More 700MHz Airwaves to AT&T

There's two groups who win these auctions and with the highest bids, are the big two carriers and investors who resell them to the big two carriers. Fair, well, yes. Sprint instead of making spastic moves like Clear and Nextel could have invested better, and T-Mobile could come across with the money instead of keeping it in Europe.

Many here think these auctions are charitable events, the government sells it to the highest bidder. US Cellular as mentioned in a previous post could have bid higher and won. And as far as spectrum holdings, Sprint isn't exactly innocent either.
