That's funny. I wonder how well its going to work and if it will really work. Its like Cingular's Rollover. Its a marketing skeem to lure customers. A lot of carriers already credit for dropped calls. Kind of lame Alltel has to advertise it. Calling your home phone for free is cool though. Qwest used to offer that, but there were alot of restrictions (ie. have to be in Qwest home calling area). Probably be the same with Alltel. Good Marketing though.

This stupid little company is still in existence. Why doesn't Verizon buy them already.

These made me laugh, although i DO think the whole "come get your love" thing is kind of stupid...The commercials as a whole, though, are pretty funny.

Well, I'm glad to see that Alltel is doing some good things for their customers. Although, I have to say that the commercials MUST GO! They are so dam stupid.

YES, I agree. I work for Cingular as an agent, and I wish they would "loosen" up a bit on their commercials and do something funny. I personally think T-Mobile and Boost Mobile have the best advertising in the mobile community. I absolutely loved the Boost Mobile commercials with the "hip" old people...

I used to have that problem on ALLTEL with dropped calls and such, but I switched to Cingular and in over a year I have had only one dropped call when I was going downstairs. With Alltel I got at least 5 dropped calls and 2 "All circuits are currently busy" messages PER MONTH, which is pathetic. marketing the minute back thing is just stupid and the home phone thing wouldn't work for us since we switched our home phone number onto our Cingular plan.

well, if you switched your home plan to cingular, then technically, (assuming you have unlimited mobile to mobile), would give you free cell to home calling 😉

hmmm, the whole home thing, it does not have to be your home phone, it can be some one elses home phone or even another arriers cell phone. But why advertise it can be another carriers cell phone when the object is to get everyone on alltel. Sorry you had a bad experience with alltel, they are not for every one as cingular and any GS company sucks over here. I have been with sprint, Nextel and now Im with Alltel and happy but would NEVER trust my business w/ a GSM company. Too many problems over here. Plus their service sucks on the west coast, that is cingular Im talking about. shady west coast service. Sure alltel has roaming agreements on the west coast with other carriers but guess what, I can use my phone in more areas over there and yo...

You're going to quit because of their commercials, wow, you're a bright one LOL.

Those commercials are funny. You need to loosen up a tad bit there, good luck in life! Are you going to pick your next job based on the companys commercials? LOL!

Come on guys, you i was just kidding. Just wanted to make the point of how ridiculous some companies are getting. Alltel is spending $165 MILLION to promote this, which means that whole "come and get your love" thing is gonna get old REAL QUICK.
