Dont count out Target too soon tho! They will be still selling contract and prepaid phones, just with another company running it.

Right you are, it's being taken over by MarketSource and from what I hear Target is going to have a bigger play in it all. I'm a Target Mobile employee and from experience, RadioShack had a lot of problems on the Target Mobile side of things and I'm hoping that MarketSource clears them up. I know for a fact they are going to be focusing on advertising the wireless aspect of Target more than before. As far as I know they're also moving away from comission based sales, relieving some of the sales stealing that definitely does happen.

Here's to not losing my job!

Right you are! You will not be losing your job. However like you said you will lose commission. You will also not be paid a higher wage. I was a Target mobile Manager from D day, I was one of the first 10 managers to open kiosks. I loved working there, they paid well and gave great incentives in the beginning. When the first set of negotiations and changes came around, i saw it going downhill. And then when I saw the speculations coming, I left. I knew they couldn't survive on upgrades being the majority. That's why they kept pushing for new acts, and changing upgrade conditions. I say to this company now, it was always a pleasure, and I thank district 0836 for the love and friendship we had together.
