I like the i9100, and its probably based off of that. As well as having the Exynos CPU. Bought one in the summer of 2011, use it as a swap when i don't care to use my Note 2. I keep an sim adaptor in it.

Yeah it doesn't have a quadcore cpu, or NFC but its just a well thought out phone. Since I do have a somewhat larger phone, this size actually suits my situation very well.

I'm thinking about trying it with TMO's new no contract unlimited data plan, that's if they re-farmed to 1900 by me. I do know Sandy sort of pushed things back.

Who needs quad core? Nobody I know. Well, maybe the Cellular group that advocates crappy battery life.

Who needs NFC at launch? Nobody! Get one of the SD cards that has built in NFC. Wait.. you have an iPhone? tsk, tsk.

Also, the i9100 is nice, but spec - for - spec, the T989 is the superior phone.
