Well, you're cation may have paid off, as LG's GSM offerings haven't exactly been barn burners. But as for CDMA? They're swell.

Selling Cingular - so i know exactly what u mean. Still, after selling GSM LG's i find it hard to believe that any LG's are any good.

The real question just may be, "How much faith can you put in a product called 'Life's Good'?"

Kind of like what the CDMA crowd says about Motorola and Nokia. But from experience the CDMA LG's are extremely solid, with the exception of the LX5550 for USCC. And LG is the leading manufacturer and seller of CDMA phones in the US and UMTS phones in Europe. On the CDMA side of things I would rate them just below Sanyo for overall quality. They don't seem to be that committed to GSM, like Moto and Nokia are not very committed to CDMA.

Actually it's Lucky Goldstar. And who really cares what the name of the company is? If it's a good product, its a good product. Only time will tell.

Really? It's Lucky Goldstar? Wow.....

Wait a minute, somebody already told me that! Like 4 hours ago! But thanks.... It's good to be on top of things, you know, cause if someone misquotes the name of a mediocre product all the satelites could fall from space at the same moment or something. 😛

And the name is important. It's what identifies a product to the public. Perhaps that's why we prefer to call it "LG" rather than the name that makes customers fall over and roll in tears of laughter. 🤣

But you're right. Only time will tell. 😎

Sorry that I missed a post. Apparetly, like LG I'm not up to your standards. How funny though that LG makes some of the most trusted electronic components to things you use everyday.

Again, screw the name. Motorola has a great name in phones, and they have made som CRAPPY ones in the past few years. So trusting a name is not always reliable.

If this phone follows the same trend as the previous LG phones I've had (4500, 6000, 6100) it will be a great phone.

I would like to know price point though.

After selling Verizon for a year, I can assure you they are.

Every LG I have had with Verizon, VX 4500, 6000, & 6100 have been STELLAR phones. NEVER had problems, best cameras, best reception, best everything. The only reason I don't have an LG right now is b/c I needed Bluetooth for handsfree. Hope this model has it. If it does, its the perfect answer for a phone with a keyboard for texters who don't want a treo or pda!

I can't wait!
