I applaud Tmobile for doing this; others should follow.
again, i applaud Tmobile for doing this and we should see some more from the other carriers. i think the fcc should force carriers to provide a more detailed coverage map just like tmobile is doing.

For Cingular, we have a coverage mapping tool called MTI. I make it a point to look up various points of coverage for the customer even if they don't ask, "Do you know how good the coverage will be at my house?" I look up where they work, live, vacation, whatever. If you sell Cingular, and have never used it, check it out. It's on Sales Portal.

and how can an individual check this with Cingular? When I go to their site it alternate between service is available and not available in my zip code. I'd like to find out mor eon this

Where is it hidden then?? With T Mobile it was easy to find.
There is a large area that thousands of us leaving Baltimore during rush hour have to deal with. It's been reported to Cingular for some 10 years.
Just wanted to check if the Cingular map shows it and am getting tired of the Cingular shuffle.

hahha. there are a lot of holes everywhere with every carrier anyway. atleast they have disclosures though. i hope the fcc mandates it.
