...you should probably specify they are exiting the US _cellphone_ market, as all their other products I presume sell quite well...

that is true but u got to remember this is a cell phone site....and thats what they talk about on this site. so everyone knows what they meant

Acutually they don't need to. This site doesn't deal with anything but cellphones, so why would they suddenly start discussing panasonic's line of appliances?

Is it just me or did everybody miss the opening statement of the article???

"Panasonic has officially closed its U.S. mobile phone operations."

Please note the words MOBILE and PHONE appear in successive order in this sentence. I kinda took that to mean their "cell phone operations" had closed down. Just my .02 😁

Of course...if you only looked at the headline and didn't actually read the article....??? I guess I could understand the confusion...but really...why respond to the article if you didn't read it?

If I'm not mistaken, I believe Rich corrected that...at least that's what he said in his post.
