Gorilla Glass is just the main glass layer. Its key attributes are resistance to breaking and scratching.
What makes it resist fingerprints is an oleo-phobic (oil-resistant) coating on top of the glass. As far as I know, that's something added by the phone manufacturer after they get the Gorilla Glass from Corning. I could be wrong, but that's my understanding.
