Corning to Debut Third-Gen Gorilla Glass Next Week

I wonder how durable gorilla glass 3 will be. Given that gorrilla glass 2 has proven to be very durable, This glass might do away with the need to have a screen protector at all, or make it even more finger print proof. At least, this is from my experience, with my Nokia 920. I have much less issues with finger prints and oily smudges on my screen, than I did with my old Samsung Focus, which had a plastic screen.
I haven't dropped my Nokia, so I can't really comment on how sturdy it is. I'm still waiting on my Otterbox case, but I hope I don't drop it before I get it.
