I think webOS is dead becuase the developer didn't know what they had. If they had put time and money into it and continued to develop that platform along with the hardware that goes with it, WebOS would be awesome. You're judging the OS based on very early versions, you wouldn't judge Microsoft based on their release of Windows 1.0, so there shouldn't be a double standard.
