AT&T Launches LTE in a Smattering of New Markets

I RARELY witnessed hspa+ getting more than 2 mbps in the areas I travel (yes they are major markets and I travel A LOT) I usually see more around 1.5.
I have not seen my 3g run slower than 700kbps in years with Verizon.
Is hspa + faster than Verizon 3g = Absolutely
is it on the same level as LTE, not even close
Verizon 4gLTE = 420+ markets (getting harder to not have it)
at&t 4gLTEs= 100 markets (getting better)
So riddle me this Batman, if HSPA+ was all that why dump millions into catching Verizon? Is LTE not technically 4g? I don't know, but it is a hell of a lot faster than 3g and hspa+ so it is disingenuous and misleading to the consumer for them to advertise it as if it is the same thing as Verizon's LTE network.
Consumer reports is paid.... to say Verizon paid them to be #1 is ridiculous... Plus they aren't the only ones saying who is dominating sales, customer service, and network quality... if anything else look at their subscriber growth over the last few quarters.... Even with the misleading ads at&t is struggling to grow at even 10% the rate Verizon is as far as net ads, says something.
Anyway, good for at&t, I hope they keep growing it out rapidly, competition is a good thing
