Throttling is logical especially when anyone abuses the alloted amount of data on any plan.

What constitutes abuse of unlimited? Rhetorical. Don't bother answering. We've had this fight on Phonescoop a thousand times since AT&T first started throttling. Its always have consumers & people under 40 vs sales trolls & people who miss the days when their BlackBerry was a status symbol.

The same thing that constitutes people thinking and believing that they are automatically entitled . The only thing unlimited in this life is stupidity. No one puts the proverbial gun to anyones head to pay for the plans in the first place. You have a choice. Use your PC at home or at an internet cafe. Anyone can get by with no data. It was done before, it can be done again.

Which is absolutely fine if they say they're going to throttle you up front if you go over a certain amount. What I wouldn't consider fine is being sold 'unlimited' only to hit an invisible wall and my device becoming practically unusable. But that, I suppose, depends on how they did this. Hopefully they released several notifications to their customers alerting them to the change well ahead of time and gave strong indications of how much is too much. If they just sprung it on people and started cutting off their data mid-month, or are leaving it in a "we'll cut you off when we feel you've had enough" type of throttling.....I'd be pissed. Mind, I don't really care as I don't use Boost, and don't use anywhere near enough of my Unlimited ...

Yes. Everyone first needs to know when the word unlimited is used in this context not to take it literally.
Especially with mobile wireless. One would think as well that carriers should notify subscibers enough in advance when such a change is going to occur.
