I'm not so sure that Verizon was ready to buy Sprint. That's a lot of debt to absorb. Did anyone notice the little blurb about the Cingular/Alltel deal? I imagine it's something like the ATTWS/USCellular deal that occurred a little while ago (most obviously down here in Florida).
