Verizon Announces Expanded International Roaming

Promo stunt?

😲 It is interesting that this is actually has been available for quite a while they just choose to announce it now. My phone works in bermuda and it only costs me $2 a minute! Sorry but I do not see why it would be worth using you're phone overseas unless it's an emergency.

Unfortunately, US cell phone companies chose to use European roaming costs as a basis for roaming charges. Roaming with US carriers is expensive.

I don't believe it is a promo stunt or a gimmick, I think Verizon just announced the new roaming agreements.
What this shows is the international growth of CDMA technology, especially in Asia and the developing nations. It was only natural that there would be international roaming for CDMA users.
