It doesn't support AT&T's LTE network; AT&T has it's own version of the LG Optimus G that includes the necessary gear to work with the LTE network. (Yes, it includes an amplifier an LTE antena, even though it has the same battery as the N4 it has better battery life 
)
Both are great phones, I like LG's customizations on the Optimus G; I hate Carriers' bloatware.
