I know I probably sound like a fanboi, but you're completly right sublime. Not only that, if you do the math, even if you buy the most expensive phone T-Mobile sells, which is the Galaxy Note II, the Value plans ALWAYS cost you hundreds and hundreds of dollars less per 2-year contract.

So what if you may have to come up with a large out-of pocket cost at the start, haven't you people ever heard of saving up for something ? I don't want bad economy comments - if you can't afford a phone, you probably shouldn't buy it or complain you can't afford it. Non-subsidy is definately the way to go.
