Actually one has to be an idiot to still buy the phone outrght (through a service plan that costs much more over the two years and never goes down). It's a better value to get a much cheaper rate plan instead and still pay less (in most cases even with a outright phone being done in payments and after 20 months (or less if you fnish paying it up early) get a steeper discount on your bill. Alot of people would like to hang on to their shiny devices longer than most of us here. Cool
