T-Mobile Phasing Out Phone Subsidies
What happens to National Retail?
Don't get me wrong, I never minded paying for my phones, and would love it where you can do just that and play the carriers off each other. Good service and good customer service would solve most churn.

Or they sell unlocked GSM devices at a discounted price. And one has to be an idiot to pay for a phone outright, and sign a two year agreement.
Always.
So what if you may have to come up with a large out-of pocket cost at the start, haven't you people ever heard of saving up for something ? I don't want bad economy comments - if you can't afford a phone, you probably shouldn't buy it or complain you can't afford it. Non-subsidy is definately the way to go.

Hopefully they get cut out. I'm really tired of having to compete with Walmart's 97-cent phones, especially when the customer gets a phone from Walmart, Walmart screws it up because they have no idea what they're doing, then I have to fix their mess.
