T-Mobile Phasing Out Phone Subsidies

If we are lucky we will have at least 3 major national post paid carriers in five years but I do see prepaid blowing up.

Boost and Virgin have been quite profitable for Sprint as in

- minimal or no subsidies extended to the subscriber for equipment.
- all services are paid for in advance (no dough no phone)
- little to no financial portfolio risk for bad debt write offs

I do not see myself going prepaid myself buy again I am thrilled to see diversity in the market.
