In the past, the FCC forced carriers to allow voice roaming on their networks at 'reasonable' rates. This did not extend to data roaming...until recently. So now a small fry carrier can sell Nationwide data plans and take advantage of a larger carrier's network. I totally oppose this and this is just one more reason Verizon is going to attempt to limit the scope of the chips they use in their devices...to keep them incompatible with carriers like C-Spire and I don't blame them.
