If you're comparing it to Sprint, T-Mobile or AT&T MVNOs, you're comparing apples to oranges. Verizon's network is more expansive than everyone except maybe AT&T, and they charge higher prices to MVNOs as a result.
Of course, if you want a cheaper unlimited plan on Verizon you could go with Straight Talk, but you'll be limited in your phone selection and probably won't be able to use anywhere near 5GB before you get cut off for over-using your "unlimited" data.

T mobile and Sprint have fine networks as does AT&T for that matter. Put the red kool aid down and walk away. Verizon is overpriced for brand sake. Page Plus doesn't have the brand.

I finally just left Verizon Wireless. I give them props they have an extremely fast network but it was getting to the point I couldnt afford $100+ a month. I agree that page plus needs to rebrand their plan as unlimited talk, text + 5gb data. I hate when companies try to misslead people that don't read the fine print.

Unlimited talk, unlimited text, and 5 GB of data is exactly how Page Plus brands this plan. There is no implication of unlimited data, and no fine print. Not sure what you think is misleading.

The only thing that implies that this plan has unlimited data is the title of this article. Page Plus does NOT advertise this plan as unlimited everything. There is no fine print. The plan description clearly states that it has 5 GB of data. I don't know where everybody is getting that Page Plus advertises that it is unlimited.
