Cricket is a great program for many. The idea of unlimited calling in the places you live and work is great. They have their downside, however, such as extemely limited coverage areas and the inability to roam. After 7PM on Friday and Saturday nights the phone traffic on their network is so intense that the network blocks a lot of calls. Give people unlimited minutes and they take you up on the offer.

The thing is with these providers is they charge way too much for the handset and I'm sure there are other draw backs too, but I stopped looking when I saw they want 200.00 for a SE47 and 300.00 for a KX2, AFTER rebates. I'll stick with what I got, thanks.
The thing is, though, Cricket and these other unlimited carriers don't do contracts. No contract=retail price phones.

And I'll shed some bank for a handset if I'm getting dependable, unlimited service for $60 bucks per month ($59.96 a month for unlimited local calling, unlimited nationwide long distance, unlimited text messaging, call forwarding, call waiting, voicemail, and insuranc...ruf-jason said:
